DANBURY, Conn. – The UMass Dartmouth women's soccer team fell to Western Connecticut State University, 7-0, during Little East Conference action on Saturday afternoon. The Corsairs are now 3-8-2 in the season while the Wolves improved to 8-5-2 overall.
The Wolves got on the scoreboard quickly netting two goals in the opening 10 minutes of play to take an early 2-0 lead. First year goalkeeper

Ashlyn Aguiar fired the first shot on frame for UMass Dartmouth to force a save from Wolves goalkeeper Gracen Regan.
Western Connecticut extended their advantage to 3-0 as Suzana Imetovski notched her second score of the afternoon at the 22:01 mark. Shortly after, the Corsairs found themselves down a player after receiving a red card to give the home team a man-advantage.
Junior forward
Antonella Goncalves ripped a pair of shots on target for UMass Dartmouth that Regan was able to stop. The Wolves tallied three more goals in the half including two penalty kicks to take a 6-0 lead at halftime.

Kaitlyn Nguyen and first year Lilly Jeager that Wolves goalkeeper Ashlyn Flood saved for her first two stops on the game. Sophomore goalkeeper
Grace Conti entered the contest for the Corsairs producing her first save at the 64:56 mark on shot attempt by Morgan Fontaine.
Western Connecticut 's attack began to generate opportunities resulting in a late goal by Fontaine in the 79

Ashlyn Rogers had a late strike that Wolves goalkeeper Gia Giorgianni saved to seal Western Connecticut's win by a final score of 7-0.
The home team outshot their opponents 21-10 in the game and held a 13-9 advantage in total shots on goal. The Wolves also had a slight 3-2 edge in corner kicks in the contest.
Sophomore
Adriana Adames and Goncalves each ended the afternoon with two shots apiece for UMass Dartmouth. Juelis picked up the loss after making one save and allowing six goals during 45 minutes of play. Conti checked in for the second half, recording five stops in net and allowing one goal for the Corsairs.
Imetovski led Western Connecticut with her pair of goals on three shot attempts while five other Wolves found the back of the net. Regan earned the victory in net after posting five saves in the first half.
UMass Dartmouth returns home for their next conference tilt hosting Rhode Island College on Wednesday, Oct. 16 for their Corsair Game of the Week. The game is set for a 7:00 pm kickoff from Cressy Field.
