MANCHESTER, Conn. – It was a victorious morning for the UMass Dartmouth men's cross country team, who posted the win at the Trinity Invitational, hosted at Wickham Park on Saturday. The Corsairs posted 55 points, besting regionally-ranked Roger Williams (2nd; 55 points), along with regionally-ranked Connecticut College (3rd; 88 pts) to claim victory in the 11-team field.
Leading the way for the Corsairs was fifth-year
Jake Paris, who crossed the line in fourth overall with a time of 16:36.70. Sophomore
Cameron Thompson was next across the finish, taking 11th overall in 16:55.60. Graduate student
Frank Wenner powered to 12th overall with a mark of 16:56.00, while sophomore
Joseph Stanton was 13th with a time of 17:03.10.
Senior
Benjamin Davignon posted 15th overall with a time of 17:08.00, while junior
Ethan Sylvia was 27th with a mark of 17:18.80. Rounding out the top seven finishers for the Corsairs was graduate student
Davis Preston, who took 48th in 17:35.70.

The Corsairs return to action on Saturday, September 21 when it hosts the 51st Annual UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational at the Robert Dowd Cross Country Course on campus. The men's junior varsity race begins at 10:30am, followed by the men's varsity race at 11:15am.
