Westfield, Mass. – The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) has announced its All-Academic honorees for the Fall/Winter season and UMass Dartmouth saw a combined 63 student-athletes in football and men's ice hockey honored for their efforts.
Student-athletes who compete in championship varsity sports offered by each of the MASCAC institutions during the course of the Fall and Winter 2024 athletic season and have achieved a 3.20 cumulative or semester-based grade point average during the semester are eligible for selection to the Fall/Winter All-Academic.
"I want to congratulate the 2024 MASCAC Fall/Winter All-Academic Team honorees," Commissioner Angela Baumann said. "I am extremely proud to see the increase in the number of student-athletes achieving this honor."
Football, which had an unprecedented season with a 10-1 (9-0 MASCAC) record during the 2024 season, saw 43 honorees named to the All-Academic Team. The Corsairs, who captured their third straight MASCAC Conference Title, played in the NCAA Tournament Second Round for the first time in program history – shouldering a tough loss to Springfield College.

Men's Hockey saw 23 honorees tabbed for the fall semester. The Corsairs, who are currently 8-8-1 and 5-4-1 in the MASCAC were led by graduate student
