WORCESTER, Mass. – First year
Natalie Frazier notched a goal and an assist to pace the UMass Dartmouth women's soccer team to a 2-0 road win at Worcester State University on Saturday morning during non-conference action from Coughlin Field. The Corsairs improved to a 7-7-3 overall record on the season with the win over the Lancers who fell to an 8-7-1 mark on the year.

Ashlyn Aguiar each ripped a shot on frame to force a pair of saves from Lancers goalkeeper Kylee Elliot. Approaching the midway point of the opening half, first year
Natalie Frazier fired her first strike of the game that Elliot was ready to stop for her third of the contest. Junior
Madison Depina and Murray each tallied a shot for the Corsairs, but the game remained deadlocked at 0-0 heading into halftime.
UMass Dartmouth grabbed a quick 1-0 edge over Worcester State in the opening two minutes of the second half thanks to a score by first year
Kiariana Williams. Frazier beat her defender to get a centering pass off to Williams who tapped the ball into the back of the net to put the Corsairs ahead 1-0 in the game. Shortly after, Frazier doubled UMass Dartmouth's advantage with her score at the 52:55 mark, her 12
th of the season, off the helper from Murray to make it a 2-0 contest.
First year
Marina Cassano denied a strike by Rylie Plant in the 66
th minute of play for her first of the second half. The Lancers created another goal-scoring chance shortly after, but Olivia Magierowski's shot was redirected off the post. Worcester State continued to apply pressure to the Corsairs back line registering eight unanswered shots highlighted by four saves from Cassano. UMass Dartmouth held on defensively to solidify their 2-0 victory over Worcester State and secure their seventh win of the season.
Despite the score, Worcester State edged UMass Dartmouth 14-12 in total shots but the Corsairs held a 9-5 margin in shots on-goal. Both teams earned three corner kicks on the day while the Corsairs committed 12 fouls compared to the Lancers with seven fouls called.
Frazier recorded her ninth mulit-point game of the season after posting a goal and an assist for three points. She now leads all of the Little East Conference (LEC) with 12 goals, averaging a league-high .750 goals per game, and is tied for third overall in the conference with 25 total points on the year. Williams notched her sixth goal of the season while Murray earned her second assist for the Corsairs in the road win.
Cassano posted her third shutout win of the year for UMass Dartmouth to improve to a 5-6-3 record in net. She finished the game with five saves against the Lancers moving her to 84 total on the season, good for third-most in the Little East.
The Corsairs conclude the 2025 regular season on Wednesday, October 29
th hosting Little East Conference rival UMass Boston for a 1:00 p.m. league tilt.
