PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Little East Conference (LEC) released its 2025 Men's Soccer All-Conference Teams featuring senior goalkeeper
Ethan Donahue of the UMass Dartmouth men's soccer squad. Donahue garnered All-LEC Second Team honors for his performance in net for the Corsairs this season.
Donahue finished the 2025 campaign with a career-high 84 total saves as well as an impressive 78.5 save percentage on the year. In 18 games started for the Corsairs, Donahue posted a 6-7-3 overall record in net highlighted by a career-best three shutout wins. He also owned a 1.32 goals-against average on the season after facing 201 total shots along with a 1.50 goals-against average in conference play.
Among the Little East, Donahue lead the league with 84 stops while also ranking second overall in the league with a 78.5 save percentage. The senior goalkeeper averaged 4.67 saves per game in 2025, good for third-best average in the conference.
Donahue recorded his first shutout of the season at Dean College on August 31 with four saves to start the year with a perfect 2-0 record in net. On September 3, the Salem native produced an impressive seven saves versus Salve Regina in a tough 2-0 home loss. Donahue later secured his sixth victory in net, and third conference win, against Plymouth State on October 18 with six stops on 12 shots faced to earn an 85.7 save percentage versus the Panthers.
The senior goalkeeper recorded five or more saves in 10 contests for UMass Dartmouth highlighted by a season-high nine stops in the LEC First Round on November 1 at Eastern Connecticut State University. Donahue's shutout performance featuring a critical penalty shootout save lifted the Corsairs over the Warriors to advance to the semifinal round for the first time since 2013.
