PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Little East Conference has announced its 2025 All-Conference honorees in women's volleyball and five UMass Dartmouth student-athletes have been recognized. Sophomore
Olivia Seutter, senior captain
Emily Pogorelec and junior captain
Allison Pate were all named to the All-LEC First Team, while junior
Skye Peters and rookie
Aleek Kuot were Second Team selections. Junior
Maddie Carter was also honored to the All-Sportsmanship Team.
In addition to her First Team honor, Pogorelec made history after being named the conference's Defensive Player of the Year for the fourth straight season – becoming just the second player in conference history to do so. Click

Seutter, an opposite from Mesa, Arizona, has appeared in all 29 matches this season, playing in 103 total sets. She owns a team – and current LEC-best – 368 kills with a 3.57 kills per set average – a mark which ranks second in the conference. Additionally, Seutter owns a .316 hitting percentage – ranking second among the LEC leaders.
In addition to her numbers in kills, Seutter also posted 47.0 blocks for a 0.46 blocks per set average, notching six solo and 41 assisted on the season. She also posted 395.5 points on the season – ranking second overall on the team and third in the LEC. Seutter currently ranks 70th among the Division III leaders in total kills and is 74th in kills per set. This marks the second straight All-LEC First Team honor for Seutter, who was the LEC Rookie of the Year and an AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention pick in 2024.
Pate, an outside hitter from Sebring, Florida, played and started all 29 matches for the Corsairs while appearing in 103 sets. She recorded 352 kills for a 3.42 kills per set average – both of which rank second on the team. Pate finished with 25 service aces and was second on the team in digs with 400 for a 3.88 digs per set average. She also recorded seven block solo and 25 block assists for 32.0 total.
Amongst the LEC's best, Pate is third overall in kills and kills per set average, while ranking fifth in digs and digs per set. She is also second amongst the LEC leaders in points with 396.5 for a 3.85 points per set average. Amongst the Division III leaders, Pate is 86th in total attacks (1,021), while ranking 89th in total kills. It is the first year-end honor for Pate, who was a two-time LEC Offensive Player of the Week this season.
Peters, a setter from Albuquerque, New Mexico, garnered her first career year-end honor after starting all 29 matches in 2025. Appearing in 103 sets, she recorded a career-high 640 assists for a 6.21 assists per set margin to lead the squad. Peters also posted a team-best 39 service aces for a 0.38 aces per set average. She also had 16 kills with 248 digs, adding eight block assists.
Among the Little East leaders, Peters ranks fourth in assists and assists per set. She achieved an incredible career milestone on October 11, notching her 1,500th career assist in a 3-0 victory over WestConn.
Kuot, a middle blocker from Beverly, Massachusetts, garnered Second Team recognition after playing in all 29 matches, including 27 as a starter. She appeared in 102 sets, recording 160 kills for a 1.57 kills per set margin. Kuot also added four assists and 18 service aces. Defensively, she has 39 digs, but finished second on the team in total blocks with 65.0 – including 14 block solo and a team-high 51 block assists.
On the season, Kuot recorded at least one block in 27 matches, including a career best seven (1 solo, 6 assisted) in a 3-1 win over Endicott on September 20. Overall, Kuot ranks seventh in the Little East in total blocks and is ninth in blocks per set.
Carter, an opposite from Beverly, Massachusetts, was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team after an outstanding season. Playing in all 29 matches, including 21 as a starter, she appeared in 103 sets. Carter posted 127 kills for a 1.23 kills per set average. She added four assists and a service ace with 28 digs while leading the team in total blocks with 70.0 for a 0.68 blocks per set average.
Carter, who posted a team-best 22 block solos, ranks sixth among the LEC's best in blocks and is eighth in blocks per set. Her efforts helped the Corsairs rank third in the conference in total blocks (174.0).
UMass Dartmouth concluded another incredible season last weekend in the Little East Conference Championship Match – their third straight appearance. The top-seeded Corsairs fell to Plymouth State, 3-1, finishing the 2025 season with a 21-8 overall record. UMD went 7-1 in Little East play, earning the conference's regular season title for the second time in the last three years.
