DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Three Corsairs from the UMass Dartmouth women's tennis team collected 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team honors for their efforts on the court and in the classroom. Graduate student

Saige Croce were each named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.
Collings, an All-LEC Second Team honoree, capped off her first season as Corsair with the best singles record on the team, 9-3, primarily coming from the No. 3 position. She also concluded the year with a 4-3 Little East Conference (LEC) mark in singles play. In doubles action, Collings finished the season with an 8-4 overall record, good for second best on the squad, including a 5-2 mark against league opponents.
Collings opened the year by going on a 5-0 run in singles action highlighted by a 6-0, 6-2 performance against Lesley University on Sept. 3. Collings made her debut for UMass Dartmouth on Aug. 31 at Curry College in the 2024 season opener. She went on to secure her first victories in both singles and doubles play to sweep the Colonels by a final score of 7-0. Collings led the team with partner
Maddie Gonzalez, 8-4, in No. 1 doubles. The tandem went undefeated in the first four doubles matches of the season featuring an 8-0 win versus VTSU Castleton on Sept. 7.
Gonzalez, a two-time All-LEC Team selection, appeared in 15 matches for the Corsairs during the 2024 season. She owned a 6-7 record in singles play, all at No. 1 singles, along with a team-best 10-5 doubles overall record. In conference play, Gonzalez owned a 4-3 singles mark in addition to 5-2 doubles record against league opponents.
The Pawcatuck native started the year with 4-1 singles run highlighted by a pivotal win against Clark University on Sept. 10 to edge the Cougars by a final score of 4-3. She went on to post two 6-0, 6-0 sweep at No. 1 singles versus Plymouth State on Sept. 14 and Southern Maine on Oct. 12. Emma Collings, featuring an 8-0 sweep against VTSU Castleton on Sept. 7. She finished the season with a 3-2 record in doubles play with wins against Suffolk University on Oct. 10 and Southern Maine on Oct. 12.
Croce played in 15 of the 16 matches for the Corsairs during the 2024 campaign. She owned a 5-10 record in singles action, good for fourth best on the team, while playing primarily in the No. 5 slot. She secured three doubles victories from the No. 2 position including a pair of wins with partner
Maddie Gonzalez and one win with sophomore
Sofia Beltran.
Croce kicked off the season by going on a 4-0 run in singles play highlighted by a strong performance against VTSU Castleton (6-2,6-0) on Sept. 7. She also had a 3-1 start in doubles action featuring an 8-3 win on Sept. 3 versus Lesley University. Croce picked up her third victory in No. 2 doubles with Beltran, 8-2, to sweep Southern Maine 9-0 in the regular season finale on Oct. 12.
