Men's Track & Field Competes at Tufts National Qualifier

Corsairs see three student-athletes in action in Medford

MEDFORD, Mass. – Three members of the UMass Dartmouth men's indoor track & field team were in action on Saturday at the Tufts National Qualifier Meet. It was the final meet as individuals worked to hit marks to make the field for the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships next week.
 
In the high jump, sophomore Sean Patrone claimed the victory in the high jump with a mark of 1.98 meters (6' 6"), while rookie Ewan McLeod tied for third overall with a height of 1.93 meters (6' 4").
 
Junior captain Cameron Thompson competed in the Mile, posting a time of 4:16.23 for ninth overall.
 
The Corsairs will now wait for the reveal of the field for the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships – which will be announced on Sunday, March 8.
