Women's Basketball Ready for Home LEC Quarterfinal Matchup

DARTMOUTH, Mass.  -  The UMass Dartmouth women's basketball team is set to host Keene State College in the Little East Conference Tournament Quarterfinals on Tuesday evening at the Tripp Athletic Center. The third-seeded Corsairs welcome the sixth-seeded Owls at 6:30pm and come in to the contest having won six of their last seven contests. UMD posted Western Connecticut, UMass Boston, Southern Maine, Keene State, Plymouth State and Castleton during their 6-1 run dating back to January 28th. The winner of the 3/6 game will advance to play second-seed Rhode Island College on Thursday, February 23 at 5:30pm.

It has been a dominant month of February for the Corsairs, going 5-1 overall - their only loss coming at Rhode Island College last week. UMD swept the regular season series against the Owls, posting a 76-51 win in January at home, followed by a 69-34 win on the road in February.
