CONTOOCOOK, N.H. – It was an outstanding day of racing for the UMass Dartmouth men's cross country team, which finished 13 overall in a field of 33 teams at the 2024 NCAA Division III East Regional Championships at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds on Saturday. The Corsairs were third among all Little East teams in the field, compiling 407 points.
The Corsairs were paced by sophomore
Cameron Thompson, who crossed the line in 54th with a time of 26:35.78. Rookie
Jackson Caron was next across, posting a time of 26:55.96 to finish 67th overall. Fifth year
Jake Paris posted 89th on the afternoon with a time of 27:25.73, while grad student
Davis Preston was 97th in 27:34.91.
Junior
Benjamin Davignon took the 100 spot, crossing in 27:43.29, while sophomore
Joseph Stanton was 109th in 27:55.45.
The Corsairs will now wait for selections to the 2024 NCAA Tournament, which will be announced this weekend.
