DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The UMass Dartmouth men's cross country team finished fourth overall with 72 points at the 2024 Little East Conference Cross Country Championship on Saturday.
Sophomore
Cameron Thompson had an impressive day on the course as the top-finisher for the Corsairs with a 26:01.98, good for 6
th overall out of 86 runners. Thompson's 8k time marks a new career-best along with a spot on the First Team All-LEC squad.
Following close behind him was fifth year
Jake Paris capturing 12
th overall after clocking in at 26:37.04. Paris secured a spot on the Second Team All-LEC roster with his performance at the championship race.
Senior
Benjamin Davignon claimed 17
th place for UMass Dartmouth posting an 8k time of 26:45.55. Sophomore
Joseph Stanton and first year
Jackson Caron earned 18
th and 19
th place, respectively, for the Corsairs. Rounding out the top-7 for UMass Dartmouth was junior
Ethan Sylvia in 23
rd place and graduate student Davis Peterson finishing 29
th overall.
