Bouffard Named to NFHCA 2025 Watchlist

DARTMOUTH, Mass. - Junior captain Sophia Bouffard was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) 2025 Watchlist, as announced by the organization on Thursday. A 2024 All-LEC Second Team selection, Bouffard collects her first career NFHCA Watchlist honor heading into the 2025 campaign. 

Bouffard, a defender from South Burlington, Vt., played in all 20 games for the Corsairs during the 2024 season. She ranked third on the squad in scoring, boasting 18 points on a team-best eight goals with two assists. Bouffard recorded 20 shots with 15 on goal, while adding a squad-best 12 defensive saves.
 
Among Bouffard's top games included a two defensive save performance in a narrow 1-0 loss at Lasell University. She scored a goal and added an assist in a win over Regis, while scoring a goal with two defensive saves in a tough 5-4 loss to Plymouth State University. 
 
In the Little East, Bouffard ranked 16th in goals scored and 19th overall in total points. Defensively, Bouffard ranked second overall in the conference in defensive saves, averaging .60 per contest. Among the nation's best, Bouffard finished the 2024 season ranked seventh overall in defensive saves.
