PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Little East Conference released its weekly honors in women's basketball and UMass Dartmouth student-athlete Amanda Ebenezer was recognized. The freshman guard nabbed Rookie of the Week honors for the first time this season after a solid week of action.
Ebenezer averaged 13.5 points and six rebounds over 35 total minutes played in a 1-1 week for the Corsairs. In an 88-48 win over Keene State, she posted 12 points with two rebounds, going 5-of-7 from the floor in just 14 minutes of action. She then recorded her first collegiate double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds in a 75-60 loss to No. 25 Southern Maine, going 4-of-8 from the floor and 7-of-8 from the line over 21 minutes of action.

In 16 games played this season, Ebenezer is averaging 5.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. Averaging 10.6 minutes per game, she has added three assists, six blocks and six steals. Her totals against the Huskies on Saturday marked career-high's in both points and rebounds.
UMass Dartmouth returns to the court on Wednesday, traveling to UMass Boston for a 5pm Little East showdown against the Beacons.
