PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Little East Conference has announced the full slate of All-Conference honorees in women's indoor track and field, and seven UMass Dartmouth student-athletes were recognized for their efforts at last week's LEC Championships.
Garnering All-LEC Second Team honors was junior
Sarah Lynch, who posted second overall in the 3,000-meters with a New England DIII Provisional qualifying mark of 10:39.34.
Rounding out the track honors was the 4x800-meter relay team of grad student
Julia Latura, sophomore
Ashlyn Byrnes, rookie
Alexah Pedder and sophomore
Sara Lopez, who combined to take third overall in a time of 10:13.66.
Junior captain
Emily Hesketh earned All-LEC Second Team honors in the weight throw, posting a distance of 14.59 meters (47' 10.5") – which was a New England DIII Automatic qualifying mark. Rookie
Eshaya Lauder claimed second overall in the long jump with a distance of 5.44 meters (17' 10.25"), garnering All-LEC Second Team and Rookie Team honors in the event.
Qualified members of the Corsairs women's team will be back in action on Sunday at the 2026 DIII New England Championships. Hosted at the TRACK at New Balance, action will begin at 9:30am.
