Corsairs see three student-athletes in action for final meet of 2026

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The UMass Dartmouth women's track & field team saw three student-athletes in action on Thursday at the 2026 MIT Final Qualifier at Morrison Track. It marked the final meet of the season for the Corsairs women's squad.
 
In the discus throw, sophomore Olivia Seutter powered her way to 10th overall, notching a throw of 37.82 meters (124' 1"). The hammer throw was paced by junior Emily Hesketh, who recorded a distance of 44.62 meters (146' 5") for 11th overall.
 
Rounding out the day's action was rookie Kearston Nelson, who finished third overall with a mark of 11.58 meters (38' 0").
