NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced its 2025 All-Academic honors and UMass Dartmouth has been recognized as the Corsairs women's team posted squad honors.
To earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team distinction, a squad must achieve a cumulative team GPA of all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility to be at least a 3.1 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester/quarter.
The UMass Dartmouth women's track & field team concluded the season with a fifth-place finish at the Little East Conference (LEC) Outdoor Championships on Apr. 25. The squad combined for a 3.27 cumulative grade point average as one of four Little East schools to garner All-Academic Team honors (Keene State, Southern Maine and UMass Boston).
The 2026 campaign was highlighted by graduate student
Emily Philbrook, who finished second overall in the 10,000-meters with a mark of 39:23.31. Additionally, the 4x800-meter relay to victory, placed third, while rookie
Grace Hawranik was second overall in the pole vault with a school record height of 2.95 meters. Sophomore
Olivia Seutter rounded out the All-Conference honorees with third overall in the discus throw for the second straight season.
Overall, the Corsairs posted seven All-Conference honors during the outdoor season and one All-Region nod for Seutter. The indoor season saw five garner All-Region recognition, including rookie
Eshaya Lauder in the long jump. Additionally, seven Corsairs garnered All-Conference honors, including Second Team recognition for junior
Emily Hesketh in the weight throw and Lauder in the long jump.
