55 From Football Named to MASCAC Fall/Winter All-Academic Team

WESTFIELD, Mass. – The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) has announced its All-Academic honorees for the Fall/Winter season and UMass Dartmouth saw 55 student-athletes in football honored for their efforts.

Student-athletes who compete in championship varsity sports offered by each of the MASCAC institutions during the course of the Fall and Winter 2025 athletic season and have achieved a 3.20 cumulative or semester-based grade point average during the semester are eligible for selection to the Fall/Winter All-Academic.

"I congratulate the student-athletes named to the 2025 MASCAC Fall/Winter All-Academic Team," Commissioner Angela Baumann said. "These honorees represent the very best of the MASCAC, demonstrating an exceptional commitment to academic excellence while competing at a high level in their respective sports."

Football, which finished the 2025 campaign with a 6-4 overall record, posted a 6-3 mark in conference play. The Corsairs posted victories over Fitchburg State, Mass. Maritime, Worcester State, Dean, Westfield State and Plymouth State throughout the season. 
 
The Corsairs saw seniors Napoleon DeBarros, Michael DeLeon, Matt Goodison, Owen Quigley, Hunter Remington, Fernando Rodriguez, Alex Santini and Malik White recognized.
 
Additionally, juniors Jordan D'Amico, Owen Dunker, Ezrah Hatcher, Daniel Knowlton, Shane Longin, Kevin Moura, Sebastian Perez, JC Petrongolo, Branden Schenck, Ben Tran, James Tudor, Jason VonHandorf and Mekhi Wilson tabbed. Sophomores Jamaury Barr, Cayden Blaschik, Jasper Chakouian, Julian Fopiano, Derek Lopes, Dylan Lykins, Connor McManus, Dante Melton, JJ Torres and Timothy Zibrida were also recognized.
 
Rounding out the All-Academic honors for football were rookies Markus Andrews, Thaddeus Bloomfield, Joey Burke, Joel Costa, Trinley Dudley, Joshua Escamillia, Lucas Figueiredo, Jayden Francois, Brodie Fraser, Logan Gelinas, Cameron Griffey, Jarrell Johnson, Tyler Jonte, Aiden Joseph, Haggai Joseph, Dwayne Julius, Leland Kelleher, Wilderson Lafortune, Christian Morales, Henry Morse, Ethaniel Noncent, Armani Rodriguez, Norman Soullier and Prince Woods.
