Lyons, Lins Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

DARTMOUTH, Mass. – College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2025 Academic All-District At-Large Team selections featuring two student-athletes from the UMass Dartmouth women's lacrosse team. Graduate student midfielder Kyra Lyons and sophomore attacker Jennifer Lins were each named on the 2025 CSC Academic All-District Team, as released on Tuesday.
 
Lyons made an immediate impact on the 2025 squad after starting in 14 of the 16 games she played for the Corsairs. She capped off the season with 23 goals and dished out eight assists for 31 total points. Lyons registered 59 total shots with 41 on target for a 69.5 on-goal shooting percentage. She tallied one game-winning goal on Mar. 22 against Vermont State University Castleton and scored three times from the free position spot. Lyons wrapped up the 2025 campaign with 17 ground balls, four caused turnovers, and one draw control.
 
The graduate student midfielder ranked third overall on the team in shooting percentage (39.0) and on-goal shooting percentage (69.5). She also ranked fourth on the squad in goals (23), points (31), shots (59), shots on-goal (41), and free position goals (3). Lyons scored her first goal as a Corsair versus Bridgewater State on Feb. 26. She went on to score at least one goal in 14 straight games ending on Apr. 19 versus Western Connecticut State University. Lyons recorded her first hat trick on Mar. 6 at Regis College in a 17-2 road victory. She posted two more games with a hat trick on Mar. 10 versus Montclair State and again on Mar. 22 against VTSU Castleton. Lyons recorded a career-high six points on Mar. 22 versus the Spartans after scoring three goals and notching three assists.
 
Lins appeared in 17 of the 18 games for UMass Dartmouth featuring seven starts in 2025. She registered two goals and 16 assists for 18 total points. Lins posted six of nine shots on-goal for a 66.7 on-goal shooting percentage. She also scoped up a career-high 12 ground balls this season. She led the Corsairs in 2025 with 16 total assists and tied for sixth overall on the team with 18 total points.
 
Lins opened the 2025 campaign with a seven-game assist streak starting on Feb. 26 against Bridgewater State and ending on Mar. 19 Curry College. On Mar. 10, Lins matched her career-high of three assists against Montclair State at the 2025 Puerto Rico Clasico. She scored her first goal of the season on Mar. 28 against Rhode Island College in an 18-7 Little East Conference win. Lins recorded her second goal on Apr. 1 versus Fitchburg State along with two assists for three points. She also produced a career-high three ground balls on Apr. 1 versus the Falcons.
