Four Garner Academic All-District At-Large Recognition

Field Hockey's Bento and Women's Lacrosse's Bushey, Hague and Lins recognized

DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their honorees for At-Large Academic All-District and four UMass Dartmouth student-athletes were recognized. Senior Lillian Bento from field hockey, along with sophomore Keira Bushey, junior Katie Hague and senior Jennifer Lins from women's lacrosse were all recognized.
 
Bento, a midfielder and captain from Seekonk, Mass., owns a 3.81 cumulative grade point average as a Biology major. A two-time captain, she started all 19 games for the Corsairs, recording a goal with two assists for four points. Bento posted six shots, including three on goal while recording a defensive save. Her goal – the first of her collegiate career – came in the final game of the season against Eastern Connecticut State.
 
In 55 career games for the Corsairs, Bento – a 2025 All-LEC Second Team honoree – started 54 contests. She recorded a goal with three assists for five points, adding 17 shots, including five goals. Bento also posted four career defensive saves.
 
Bushey, a sophomore goalkeeper from Haverhill, Mass., posted a 3.92 cumulative GPA as a Graphic Design major. During the 2026 season, she started all 17 games in the cage for the Corsairs. She produced a conference-best 912:51 minutes in goal, sporting a 14.53 goals against average.
 
The Little East Conference's Goalkeeper of the Year in 2026, Bushey led the Little East in saves (186) and saves per game (10.94). She also ranked ninth among all Division III goalies in total saves and was 16th overall in saves per game among the national leaders.
 
Hague, a junior captain and attack out of East Freetown, Mass., owned a 3.98 cumulative grade point average as a Biology major. A starter in all 17 games for the Corsairs, she recorded seven goals and posted 15 shots, including 11 on goal.
 
In addition to her seven goals – which ranked seventh on the team – Hague posted 23 ground balls, adding five caused turnovers with one draw control to her credit.
 
Lins, a junior attack from Martinez, Calif., had a perfect 4.00 cumulative grade point average as a Computer Science major. A starter in all 17 contests for the Corsairs, she posted 11 goals with seven assists for 18 points. Lins added 22 shots, including 17 on goal with 28 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers.
 
Lins – who graduated from UMass Dartmouth in three years – played in 51 career games, including 41 as a starter. She amassed 27 goals with 47 assists for 74 points. In addition to 65 shots – 52 on goal – Lins notched six man-up goals, one shorthanded tally, 51 ground balls, 17 caused turnovers and one draw control.
 
The UMass Dartmouth women's lacrosse team went 4-13 on the season, going 1-7 in Little East play. The squad saw three players named to All-LEC Teams, including Bushey – who was a First Team honoree in addition to her Goaltender of the Year honors. The Corsairs field hockey team was 2-17 overall and 0-6 in LEC play during the 2025 season. In addition to Bento, three others were All-Conference honorees.
