Amy Stucchi (UMass Dartmouth '04) was a four-year swimmer at UMass Dartmouth who left her mark on the record books in the Tripp Center pool. In addition to her talents in the swimming pool, she was an outstanding student as well.  Following her senior season, she was named UMass Dartmouth's 2004 ECAC Scholar Athlete of the Year. Stucchi was an eight-time Little East Conference swimming champion in only three years of championship events along with being a six-time New England Division II/III Champion. She twice qualified for the ECAC Open Championships with her best finish a 14th place in the 200 Fly in 2004 and qualified for the 2003-04 NCAA Championships in the same event. By the time she swam in her last race for Coach Cathy Motta's Corsairs, Stucchi had set three school records (200 yd Butterfly, 200 yd IM and 400 yd IM) along with the LEC Championship Meet record in the 200 yd Butterfly which was set in 2001 and still stands today.
