Stefan Pagios ('00 men's basketball) is among the most honored and winningest men's basketball players in UMass Dartmouth history.  Ranked seventh in career scoring with 1,882 points, his four-year career was filled with both team and individual honors each season.  In his first season (1991-92), he was an All-LEC Tournament selection and was LEC Honorable mention.  As a sophomore, he was named All LEC First Team for the first time, was the LEC Tournament Most Valuable Player and was part of an NCAA Final Four team which finished with a 25-6 record.  As a junior, he was the LEC Player of the Year, was an ECAC First Team choice, an LEC Tournament All-Star and an NABC Second Team All-Northeast honoree on a team which advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament, posting a 22-6 record.  The 1994-95 season was his final year for the Corsairs. That season Pagios was both the LEC and ECAC Player of the Year award, while being named an LEC All-Star and a First Team NABC All-Northeast selection as the Corsairs went to the NCAA Tournament for the third straight year with Pagios at point guard. His team finished with a 24-4 record and included an NCAA Second Round appearance.  In addition to his scoring records, Pagios is third all-time in assists with 578 for his career.
