Nicole Castonguay Maher set a new standard for excellence during her nine seasons as the Corsairs’ Head Field Hockey Coach from 2006-14.  Castonguay Maher’s teams posted an overall mark of 121-71 (.630) and qualified for the Little East tournament in all but one of her years at the helm, as UMass Dartmouth claimed three conference titles and earned berths in the NCAA Division III Championships in 2009, 2010 and 2014.  Nicole, who ranks behind only Marilyn Ritz on the Corsairs’ all-time wins list, led her squad to a school-record 17 wins on a pair of occasions (2006 & 2012), and she was recognized by her peers as the Little East Coach of the Year five times.
